BOROUGH ARCHIVES
Bronx Park East

Est. 2022 · Five Boroughs · A Documentary Record

A living archive of New York, one block at a time.

Street photography as cultural preservation. Each holding is a block, kept — catalogued by location, date, and accession, and offered as a print, a garment, a book, an accessory.

The Archive

Fieldwork, not stock. Record-keeping, not decoration.

We photograph New York at street level — the storefronts, awnings, transit lines, and corners that the city rewrites without ceremony. Each block is documented before it changes, then catalogued as a holding with a location, a date, and an accession number.

This is preservation by repetition: return to a block, record what remains, file it. The archive grows one neighborhood at a time. A photograph here is not a poster of the city — it is evidence of a specific place on a specific morning, offered in formats meant to be lived with and worn out.
